What information does MercaDolar collect about me?
When you register with MercaDolar or contact us for support or other offerings, we collect the information that you submit such as: (i) Contact information such as your name, address, email address, telephone number; (ii) Preferred display name; (iii) Company name; (iv) VAT number; (v) Billing address; (vi) Payment method; (vii) Communications with MercaDolar support; and (viii) Comments and content you post.
If you submit content to MercaDolar, we may also require verification of your identity with a government issued ID and other information such as: (i) Contact information such as your name, address, email address, telephone number; (ii) Content metadata; and (iii) SSN / EIN.
When you visit our Website, we may automatically collect certain information such as: (i) Internet Protocol ("IP") address; (ii) Browser type; (iii) Operating system; (iv) Uploads and downloads on our website; (v) Profile changes; (vi) Content changes; and (vii) Payment events.

While using the services offered by our MercaDolar Wallet, such as sending and receiving money among users of the platform or making transfers to a linked bank account, we will collect information related to the transaction, such as: (i) When sending or requesting money, we will collect personal data such as the name, email and financial information of the receiving user. The level of information collection may vary depending on the service used; (ii) When transferring money to a linked bank account, we will collect personal data such as the full name, identification number, email and financial data of the bank account to which the transfer is made; (iii) When using the function of inviting a friend, we can collect the data of the added contacts; and (iv) If invited to participate in non-mandatory online surveys, the accumulated information will be only to improve the experience of our users and to help us identify the services and needs that will be valuable for our customers in the future.

Does MercaDolar share my personal information?
We will share your personal data between and among MercaDolar and our current and future family of companies for the purposes identified above. The types of third parties your information may be shared with include, advertising partners, retailers, research organizations, advertisers, ad agencies, advertising networks and platforms, information service providers, publishers, and non-profit organizations.

MercaDolar is committed to providing you with a secure Website and services, therefore, we use state-of-the-art technology and the best financial industry standards to protect the information of our users, this includes: firewalls and SSL ("Secure Socket") Layers "), we also take appropriate measures to safeguard the physical security of our data and servers with a security infrastructure compliant with the PCI regulations of the United States. MercaDolar is not responsible for any breach of security or dissemination of information that occurs on the servers of third parties that are not part of MercaDolar and/or its subsidiaries.
How long will you retain my data?
Where we process registration data, we do this for as long as you are an active user of our Website or products. When you close your account, we delete certain personal information that we no longer have a business reason to retain, such as your hashed password and your payment account data. However, we typically retain personal information related to our contract and transactions with you for seven years after your last interaction with us. Where you have perpetually licensed content to us – or have perpetually licensed content from us – we need to keep a record of that in perpetuity for license and royalty management purposes. Model and property releases also are kept in perpetuity (as certain content rights are perpetual) for licensing the content, investigating, preventing legal claims, and to protect third party rights.
